'Frasier's' Tossed Salad And Scrambled Eggs Among Top 10 Weirdest TV Theme Songs



There was a TV theme song lyrical breakthrough this week, revealing that "Frasier's" bizarre TV theme song was ... still a bizarre TV theme song.

The theme song's composer revealed (via Best Week Ever) that "tossed salad and scrambled eggs" was a nice way to refer to the "mixed up," crazy patients of the TV radio therapist. But that isn't as nuts as it gets. While most shows choose the short and sweet lyric-less theme song path these days, the ones that take the opposite, hyper-literal route (we're looking at you, "Small Wonder") are the true heroes of horrible.

a. My friend and I once randomly started talking about the Frasier theme song and I almost peed myself because I was laughing so hard.

Now I like the show despite it's convoluted premise but this theme song always struck me as.... WTF is this?

My mind was blown when I realized that Kelsey sang the Frasier theme! I had no idea, but now that I know it's so obvious.

i never really gave the frasier song a second thought, but the community song always kills me. and thank you for reintroducing the beauty that was the blossom theme song to my life. i really need to re-watch this show.

I fucking HATE the community theme song. I love the show but that song is awful. That style of music is awful.

Also I hate how on NBC, all their theme songs are like twice as loud as the rest of the show.

Mayim Bialik was so so adorable in those opening credits!! And the outfits don't look that bad given all the 90s nostalgia right now.

I don't think anyone remembers this, but Felicity's opening song in the last two seasons was really fucking bizarre (and awful). I swear i read somewhere that it was a song that JJ Abrams computer-generated.
