Amanda Bynes has reportedly been in personal crisis since 2008.
According to People, the Easy A actress's recent drink driving arrest was the latest in a string of poor decisions made by Bynes, who feels "lost" in life.
The 26-year-old was taken into custody for DUI in the early hours of Friday morning (April 6) after hitting a police car with her black BMW while leaving a Hollywood nightclub. She was later released on $5,000 bail.
While Bynes's father Rick has insisted that his daughter does not drink, a source close to the star says that her run-in with the law was not at all surprising.
"This DUI was definitely just a serious lapse in judgment," a source told the publication. "She hit a wall personally and professionally [in 2008]... I think she's been a little lost since then."
The insider added: "[She] was raised in the industry and came up in the industry, so she has kind of a twisted head space in terms of social groups."
Last month, Bynes drove away from police during a traffic stop as the officer wrote her a ticket for talking on her cellphone while driving.

Not saying that I believe the blind item, but his relationships with his young starlets creep me out.

I hope she can rise above whatever she's going through, especially before the media goes crazy.

Why does she deserve more punishment than the rest of us?
Bynes has had some serious issues for quite some time now.
