I lost all interest in this show by the end of season five, but I just might have to tune in tonight knowing that this could potentially be the show's final episode.

I had no idea this show was even still on. I caught a really old ep a few weeks ago and totally forgot that Rory Cochrane was even in this show.

How are people not sure the show's coming back for another season? What's the situation with the show?

CBS recently released a list of shows that it was renewing next season. CSI: Miami wasn't on that list, though there's still a chance it could get renewed. Ratings have been really poor, in comparison to what they used to be in the old time slot for the earlier seasons.

They won't hear anything until sometime in mid-May, iirc. Must be scary for the cast and crew, not knowing if they'll still have a job come September. Apparently some of them have already started looking elsewhere for work.

I think both Miami and NY are performing poorly in ratings (in CBS standard, of course. would be great numbers on NBC probably lol) so they are kind of on the bubble atm. Vegas is relatively safe.

what did they do to her? i remember reading something about how they finally got calleigh and eric together. that was probably handled badly tbh. all i know is in the beginning seasons, she was suuuch a good character.

Calleigh and Eric together was another reason why I stopped watching. I heard they're not currently together, but the damage that was done to both of their characters from that relationship and other things is just so beyond repair. Such a terrible, terrible idea.

When I stopped watching, she was nothing like her character at all in earlier seasons. I feel like the writers alienated her from the rest of the team so that ALL her scenes could be with Eric, she became a lot more miserable and distant, and her nickname? Forget about it; I feel like they rarely showcased her knowledge and love of firearms.

Season one and two (as well as some parts of three and four) Calleigh was SO PERFECT. I'll never forgive the writers for taking that Calleigh away from us. :[

I probs wont tune in tonight, though; I'd rather do something crazy like downland the last 3 or 4 seasons and marathon them over the summer. Dont care how bad the written got on the show, I just need to have my storylines in order for all shows I watch.

I only watch reruns of this show, I cannot watch the new episodes when they air. Does anyone else think that CSI: Miami is comical and ludicrous?
