Official 'Little Birds' Trailer

Millennium Entertainment has released a trailer for the slice-of-life drama Little Birds, which premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. Set to hit cinemas in 2012, but with no official release date, the film stars Juno Temple, Kay Panabaker, Leslie Mann, Kate Bosworth, Kyle Gallner, Chris Coy, Carlos Pena, and Neal McDonough, and follows two best friends (Temple and Panabaker) from a small desolate town who decide to join three boys on a road trip to Los Angeles.

Written and directed by Elgin James, a “Straight-edge” leader who was sentenced to jail for attempted extortion just months after his film premiered at Sundance, the trailer shows off why the film has gotten mostly positive reviews. Most people are in agreement that Juno Temple is an up-and-coming star and this film looks like another terrific performance from her, as well as providing an interesting look at two very different girls from the same dead-end town. Check out the trailer below!

Synopsis: Fifteen-year-old Lily and her best friend, Alison, live on the shores of the Salton Sea. Sprinting toward adulthood, Lily wants to escape her depressing hometown. But Alison is content with her life; she enjoys being sheltered from the uncertainty of growing up. When the girls meet three street kids, Lily convinces Alison to follow the boys to Los Angeles. Thrust into a world of excitement and danger, the girls must decide how far they are willing to go to get what they want.

I didn't even know they were related until I read it on imdb. I always thought they just had the same last name and you know not related. IDEK how I didn't make the connection to be honest.
