as far as i'm concerned why learn how to drive until i can afford a car. also, with options like walking/biking it seems unnecessary. #europeanopinions.
Like everyone else has pretty much said, I'm from New York and I hadn't even done so much as sit behind the wheel of a car before I left for college (which is admittedly in L.A., so... y'know... I learned).
i kinda cant tbh. i have my license and went to drivers ed and everything, when i was 19, but i havent driven for like 7 years or more. it just scares me soo much lol.
I was 26 when I finally got my license :-x before that, I didn't really have a NEED for my license. But it is nice to be able to get up and go whenever I want now. Plus I like being in my little car jamming to cheesy music lol
I'm almost 26 and I don't have a license. Driving scares the shit out of me. That's what happens when you see a child get run over and killed in front of you at a young age. :(
The same! I just turned 25 a couple months ago, but I finished lessons way before then. I'm just too chickenshit to make an appt at the DMV and take the driving portion.
Yeah I have my G2, and I need to go in the for the G test really soon cause my license expires in June. I'm an ok driver but I still can't park for shit and highways terrify me. Might just take the G2 test again to prolong my license lol.
lol 23 here, got my G1 when I was 18 and that was about it! It expires next May though... so I'll probably have to retake it so I can get my G2 (if ever!).
Living in Toronto makes driving unnecessary though.
i'm 18 and just got my G in december. i rushed through the process, did my g1 and g2 tests as soon as i was eligible then waited about 6 months after being eligible to do the G cuz of work then school. i'm relieved to have it over with.
That's really weird to me. Regardless of whether it's her own car or not should they not give some indication to other road users that they are only learners? =/
Definitely a city thing. If you live in areas where there's a lot of public transportation, you usually rely on that. Also, some people don't get their licenses until later because of insurance costs.

The R8 has an automatic transmission (but it's the auto DSG kind).

24 and counting with my g1 ("learners permit") only lol.

I really want to go for my G2 but I need to get new glasses first. :(
But she's like 26 and she's just learning? Is that a city thing? Or a Gaga thing?
