go and stick to the tourist designated areas. It's a pretty island but some places are not tourist friendly/that big of a deal. If you're into the nature exploring aspect you'll love el yunque.

I adore it. I don't know why but I had no idea what it would be like before I go there. And then I went and it was so beautiful but still had things like Wendy's and Starbucks... unsure why but it made me laugh.
I went last month! The weather was perfect. The Marriot hotel has the best beach and the waves are great. It isn't dead and if you boogie board, you'll get waves. El Yunque rain forest was beautiful.

That's kind of what I'm noticing and wincing so much about. It's not like she has to be bone thin but she really does not look healthy or comfortable here.

im going this summer with my family for two weeks. we try to go every few years.
what we usually do is just road trip around the island, and then fly home once we make our way along the perimeter.
but this year we're just staying near san juan for the whole two weeks
