After “America’s Got Talent” moved from LA to New York to keep new judge Howard Stern happy, Stern almost persuaded NBC to film the live shows practically on his doorstep.
We’re told that NBC producers were in talks to film at East Hampton Studio through the summer. The studio, in Wainscott, is 31,000 square feet and built to house movie and TV productions, and is conveniently not too far from Stern’s Southampton spread.
But sources tell us the talks with NBC didn’t end in a signing, and the Hamptons plan didn’t go ahead.
According to the show’s Web site, it will be filming in New York for three days next week , then the live shows start in early July. An NBC rep didn’t get back to us last night.

Does Howard Stern ruin relationships?!
Adam Levine is single after splitting with his Victoria Secret model girlfriend of two years, Anne Vyalitsina. Ladies, you can drool now.
The announcement came Monday from Anne V’s rep: “Adam and I have decided to separate in an amicable and supportive manner. We still love and respect each other as friends. I wish him all the best.”
What’s strange about their split is just under two months ago, the couple appeared on the Howard Stern Show where Anne said that she was “in love” with Levine and he said it was the most functional relationship he’s ever been in.
We’re not sure what it is about that show, but here are some other examples of celebs who went on the show and weeks later were single:
Jonah Hill split from his long-time girlfriend weeks after his September 2011 interview on the show.
Bradley Cooper and Rene Zellweger broke up less than a week after his March 2011 appearance.
Adrienne Curry was on the Howard Stern Show in May 2011 and two weeks later announced her divorce from husband of five years, Christopher Knight.
Lastly, Chaz Bono ended things with his partner of twelve years a month after his November 2011 interview.
Not that anyone is unhappy about Levine being single, but Mr. Stern, what’s the deal?
Howard Stern Asks Rachel Maddow About Putting Out for a Man!
Rachel Maddow made an appearance last week on The Howard Stern show to talk about her new book Drift: The Unmooring of American Military Power. Stern also asked her about the Republican presidential nominees, and being a lesbian. Maddow told Stern that before she came out she was dating a "thuggish" kind of guy that her parents didn't really warm up to until she started coming out as a lesbian and then they were suddenly all about him.
Said Maddow: "I'm never going to tell you that."
Stern also asked if she gets angry "when [she sees] guys like Rick Santorum so happy to bash gays and gay marriage, talk about how they're sinning" and "Michele Bachmann is running around with her husband saying, 'We've got to convert gay people.'”
Replied Maddow: “The comfort that I take in that is that they look ridiculous...They really look like...they look like a living embarrassing artifact of a way that people used to think.”

ActorExtra getting more air time was the best last week.i just got into his show after having sirius for, like, ever. he's great and all but the intense stanning that goes on for him is a bit much. IMO
