if your cuticles are jacked, please don't post pictures. I don't get people who have nail blogs or whatever and their cuticles are gross and nail shape is all fucked up and uneven. put some dame pride into your hobby!

i do not have the patience for all of that. if I'm feeling creative, I'll bust out my Konad. That's about it.

I did just buy some dotting tools off ebay, so I'm excited to try those out when they arrive this week.

Get UV gel nails. I've been biting my nails for like 20 years and I started getting gels a while ago and I haven't bitten them since. Mostly because with the gel they're so hard that I'd probably break my teeth but also because they look so pretty I just can't bring myself to do it. However, it's kind of backfired and now I'm obsessed with my nails haha...but my hands look nicer than they ever have in my life!

Some of them are the best things I've ever seen, some of them are ugly beyond words, and some of these people have too weird of fingers for me to concentrate on their nail art.

I hate fake nails. I just hate the look of them. Nail polish is awesome tho, I love to wear shades of red, purple, green, blue, turquoise...

95% of them just look so obviously fake that it's like... bleh. Kind of defeating the purpose. It's like wearing a wig that is really obviously a wig.

Gold Silk by Rimmel is pretty awesome. I like to use it over the top of other colors a lot too.

The Nicki Minaj ones are beautifully tacky. The Ke$ha ones not nearly enough.
