LMAO i stiull have that purple Princess Diana bear on my dresser in a protective case. it is sitting on top of my blackie the bear beanie baby, also in a protective case. idk why blackie was my fave, but he was.

i also have one of the bigger stuffed animals, a cocker spaniel named corky, that i love more than anything and used to sleep with until my dog bit his nose off. now he sits on a shelf so he doesn't lose his stuffing

LOLLLL same here, I had so many, and now they just sit there in storage.

Sad indeed. Especially the obsession over the "rare" ones...thank goodness my grandma mostly got them for me so that I didn't waste too much money.

I'm glad i didn't live in the US during the beanie baby craze. I heard some fantastically horrifying stories though. and this video is accurate.
