Clay Aiken criticizes Rihanna: 'She has pitch problems'
Clay Aiken has suggested that Rihanna isn't a strong singer.
The star was discussing The Celebrity Apprentice on Watch What Happens, when host Andy Cohen asked which current popstar would have trouble succeeding on American Idol.
"Oh God, there're too many. Too many... Current pop singer? I've stopped listening to them because they can't sing," Aiken admitted.
The second season American Idol runner-up then said: "[I'll go with] Rihanna [because she] has some pitch problems for sure. She does... Now I'm gonna get in trouble, too."
Rihanna has sold 47m singles in the US alone and has also won five Grammy Awards.
The 'We Found Love' singer has yet to respond to Aiken's comments.
