Passerby, be warned! When Selma Blair‘s 8-month-old son is hungry, the actress doesn’t hesitate to breastfeed him, no matter the audience.

“The only time he cries is if he’s hungry,” the Anger Management star, 39, tells PEOPLE. “We all have nipples. I don’t care who I offend; my baby wants to eat. If I can’t get a cover over me quick enough, so be it.”

What are your thoughts about public breastfeeding? Does it make you uncomfortable or do you not gaf, the baby has to be fed. So who cares...? P.S that baby is gawgeouss

I personally don't want to see fat, sloppy, tits just hanging out of any woman's top. Just because a woman is nursing doesn't make her engorged breasts less disgusting to look at.

I got seriously ill when my mom breastfed me it wasn't until they switched to normal formula, that they figured out the breastmilk made me sick

Same here. My Mom did this huge elimination diet until they finally clued in that it was the breast milk itself. It's rare, but not entirely unheard of.

people are so weird about nudity. A boob is only sexual if you make it sexual. If you think a 6-month-old baby sucking on their mother's boob for nourishment is sexual, those are your own issues you need to get worked out.

Those people that complain are always the ones that forget that breasts are, you know, there for this purpose. Sure, we can associate them with other things but there's really no reason to complain about public breastfeeding. Babies are unpredictable and they have to eat. And it's just boobs, which you may see for a half second until the kid latches.

You can barely even see anything when the vast majority of women are breast feeding. If they need to do it in public, I'd rather they feed the baby when it needs to eat. Everyone will be happier.

People need to stop being so judgmental about public breast feeding and realize that new mothers need to get out of the house now and then.
