Chris is the latest celebrity to pay his respects to Trayvon by sporting a hoodie.
The tragic case of Trayvon Martin, the unarmed 17-year-old boy who was shot to death by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman in Sanford, Fla. on Feb. 26, has rocked the nation. Despite being caught up in a messy love triangle with girlfriend Karrueche Tran and ex Rihanna, embattled singer Chris Brown is doing what he can to show solidarity with Trayvon’s family.
On Mar. 27, Chris tweeted out a picture of himself and two friends wearing F.A.M.E and Fortune hoodies (his most recent album titles) to his nearly 10 million followers.
“Trayvon Martin!” the accompanying tweet read.
As HollywoodLife.com reported earlier today, on Mar. 27, in the midst of protests nationwide, singers including Stacy Francis, Chaka Khan and Eric Benet gathered in a Hollywood recording studio to re-record Chaka’s “Super Life” in memory of the fallen teenager.
Rihanna has been posting a lot of pictures on Twitter lately — we wonder if she’ll follow suit and pay tribute to Trayvon!
