Sneak Peek: Michelle Duggar in tears as she breaks the news of tragic miscarriage to her 19 children

She tragically miscarried what would have been her twentieth child, Jubilee Shalom Duggar last December.

And, now, in a new sneak peek from this coming Tuesday's season finale of TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting, Michelle Duggar and her husband Jim Bob are seen gathering their 19 children together to break the sad news.

'
All the little ones were just so excited,' the devastated mother says in the preview, prior to revealing the sad loss of
Jubilee Shalom Duggar, five months into her pregnancy.

Truly disgusting people. They cant take their anti-choice agenda and shove it up their asses.
littleonelychee 24th-Mar-2012 02:30 pm (UTC)
I watched one of their ~specials~ or whatever ages ago where they're running through everyday life and it looked like they all just picked clothing and stuff out of a generic family pile. How utterly, utterly depressing to not even have your own clothing as a form of identity AT LEAST.

Do they stopped using birth control because they miscarried.. Yet they won't stop trying to have more kids after this miscarriage?
sprywonderdog 24th-Mar-2012 03:25 pm (UTC)
They'll manage to blame it on something one of the children did. Like how Jim Bob losing his political election was because of one of the sons being caught masturbating. Sin in the camp, they called it.

from the video: do guys these days still wear their hair gelled and flipped up in the front? it it still ~in style? IMO I haven't seen it since like 2002 tbh, but i could be wrong.
hola_meg_a_cola 24th-Mar-2012 03:16 pm (UTC)
My sister-in-law does that with one of my nephews. Then again, he's 3.
surefire14 24th-Mar-2012 04:22 pm (UTC)
Oh god, my boyfriend who is 26 was still styling his hair like this until this past fall when I finally convinced him to get a more "modern" style and move on from the 2002 high school look. It was AWFUL.

I cannot imagine filming (and showing!) something like this to the world. And geez, it seems like they've drug out the miscarriage for the past couple of months. I can't even with this family anymore.
superdogbiter 24th-Mar-2012 03:58 pm (UTC)
and jubilee doesn't know how lucky she is to not be born into a psycho family who raises their daughters to just be mothers
superdogbiter 24th-Mar-2012 03:59 pm (UTC)
oh yeah i went to josh duggars twitter and asked him if god has a plan for everything then how do you know that god maybe wanted that women to have an abortion.
Also i said my body my rights
juicybrisket 24th-Mar-2012 05:10 pm (UTC)
did he reply?
androganus 24th-Mar-2012 04:02 pm (UTC)
Theyre disgusting. If their older son is a reflection of their parenting values then I hope she never has a child again.
surefire14 24th-Mar-2012 04:29 pm (UTC)
Whenever I see posts about this family I seriously sit down and say to myself "thank god I was born into a normal family and had a normal childhood." I couldn't imagine being forced to live this lifestyle and being sent off to camp if I questioned it or strayed away. That's the worst part about them is that they can't get away from it.

But that being said I do have a question; when they turn 18 and are legally adults can they still be sent away to the camp if they still live with the family? What are the consequences if you would leave? Are you forever banished from the family?
Sometimes I even wonder if these kids are "equipped" to live in the real world alone. I know they do the whole home school thing but is it a regular K-12 curriculum like they'd get in traditional school or is it radical religious stuff?
grimacide 25th-Mar-2012 12:23 am (UTC)
Legally they could go off, but what would they do? They have no formal education and no interpersonal skills. They are so brainwashed, and the real world is scary enough without having been born into a cult.

Likely banishment is the punishment for disruption. They would never be allowed to see their brothers or sisters, everyone would "pray for them" but no one would receive them. Ive seen it happen. For people who have lived their entire lives this way, it close to impossible to escape.
surefire14 25th-Mar-2012 07:57 am (UTC)
That's so sad.

I could not watch this season because I knew where it would end up. Miscarriages always make me sad. :(
