You think you've been worked into a tizzy by The Hunger Games? Then spare a thought for the stars, chief among them Liam Hemsworth.
While yesterday, Katniss herself, Jennifer Lawrence, told Ryan Seacrest that she was doing her best to manage her excitement over the biggest thing ever, Liam has found no such balance.
Of course, the nonstop red carpet proposals and ribbing at the hands of his fellow movie star brother, Chris Hemsworth, probably aren't helping matters.
"I'm just running on adrenaline most of the time," Gale's alter ego told Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show this morning. "I've been waiting a while for people to see it. The expectation just keeps getting bigger and bigger."And he assures fans that they won't be disappointed.
"It's a really, really good movie. It's honestly one of the most powerful films I've seen."
No false modesty here. But hey, he's earned it. Particularly when you bear in mind the girl on fire trial by fire it took to get him into fighting form.
When asked appreciatively about his physique in The Hunger Games, Liam admitted that he was told to lose weight and get in shape for the role…albeit not in so many words.
"No one said it to me personally. They got a personal trainer and said, 'Here's your personal trainer,' and I just started eating less and losing a lot of weight." And he found whatever extra motivation he needed from a somewhat unlikely source: his brother, Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth—who, it goes without saying, knows from hard bodies.
"My brother was a big part of it. He texted me and said, 'It's called Hunger Games, not Eating Games,' " he laughed.
Meanwhile, Liam is undoubtedly poised to rise to the top of the heartthrob pack, thanks to his blockbuster role—so what does his girlfriend, Miley Cyrus, think of his newfound fame? Could she be—gasp!—a wee bit jealous of his Hunger dames?
"No, not at all. She's one of the biggest stars in the world, there's no shadowing her," Liam said.
"She embraces it. She's very, very happy for me," he went on. "I've had a few marriage proposals from 12-year-old girls…Ah, I don't know. It's a very awkward question to get proposed to from someone you don't know at all, who doesn't know you. How crazy are you?"
That's a question best left to the experts. Robert Pattinson, care to shed some light?

peeta and katniss were supposed to have disjointed chemistry in the first book anyway, thats how i read it
