Appointment TV is six days away. The nearly 18-month layoff from new episodes of “Mad Men,” ends Sunday, March 25, with the two-hour season 5 premiere, airing at 9 p.m. Sunday on AMC. I can’t wait to hear what comes out of Roger Sterling’s (John Slattery) mouth this season. And, I hope they’ll finally sufficiently address the baby Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) gave birth to in Season 1.

I can’t wait to hear what comes out of Roger Sterling’s (John Slattery) mouth this season. And, I hope they’ll finally sufficiently address the baby Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) gave birth to in Season 1.
Series creator and writer Matt Weiner left even more plot strings hanging – Joan’s (Christina Hendricks) pregnancy; Don Draper’s (Jon Hamm) nuptials (did he or didn’t he?); the loss of the Lucky Strike account for the new Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce agency; Peggy’s interest in the counterculture; and can Betty Draper (January Jones) be happy in any marriage? Will sparks fly again between her and Don? The madness can’t get here fast enough.
