Kirk Cameron on abortion: "I think that it's wrong, under any circumstances"

On Friday night, actor and evangelist Kirk Cameron joined Piers Morgan for a remarkably honest interview on faith, family, and social issues.

The former star of television's "Growing Pains," Cameron is now a Born Again Christian with strong beliefs on abortion:

"I think that it's wrong, under any circumstances," shares Cameron on "Piers Morgan Tonight." "I think that someone who is ultimately willing to murder a child, even to fix another tragic and devastating situation – like rape or incest or things like that – is not taking the moral highroad."

As the discussion continues, the 41-year-old father of six explains supporting a pregnant daughter, when conception was a result of rape:

"I love my daughter, I love that little child. This is a little creature made in God's image," says Cameron. "I value life above all things."

Watch the clip, and listen to the interview, as the former "Growing Pains" star details his feelings on value systems and moral behavior.

I know way too many of those, and it takes all my strength not to say too much to them because other than their twisted political views they are great people.

yeah. i live in the south and it's hard not to have some of these people in your life. i befriended this girl about 2 years ago and we get along ridiculously well. recently, she changed her photo to a pic of her holding a sign that says "i am from the pro-life generation" and i was like girl noooooo.

yep. i knew someone like that. he's from hawaii and found god in his 30s. something would just "set him off", like issues of homosexuality, muslims, democrats and his god-given right to spank his kids. i couldn't stay friends with him because he would always randomly bring up these "issues".

one time i was in his car and a guy wearing a thobe was crossing the street. he turned to me and said, "do you think he's a muslim? HA-HA, should i run over the terrorist? HA-HA-HA". i was so horrified and i legit thought he was gonna do it. people don't understand/hate on me when i said he's usually very charismatic, nice, loving, funny, chill and laid back. they thought i was trying to excuse his behaviour. i'm not because it's really like he's a whole nother person whenever he talked about anything remotely religious. idk, it's just hard to explain.
