Fucking hate skinny shaming and body shaming these tweets are dumb but I do feel for her because she most likely has an Eating Disorder. But expressioning your self-hatred like this isn't the way to go just makes you look like a jackass.
That second photo ... is it shopped?? I remember that set of photos, but I not her waist looking anywhere near that tiny in any of them.
That said, I'm not particularly fussed by her comments ... it's nothing I would promote, but it's textbook defensiveness from an insecure teenager. I mostly just feel sorry for her.
IMO most of this comes from Miley's own issues with her body (I remember Demi tweeting similar things and, well, we all know about that) and insecurities due to how hard the media scrutinizes her weight.
Still a fucked-up message to be sending to her fans (especially since she still has very young Disney Channel-age fans) and to her younger sister. But I can kind of understand where all this is coming from and it's sad, really.
But both of them scream eating disorder it is really a sad thing. A lot of people think there friendship was partly based on there co-exsiting eating disorders.
I wouldn't be surprised. :( I know there are a lot of friends who encourage each others' EDs and compete with each other about it.
I hope Miley gets help if that's the case. Actual help, long enough for it to work, and not to be pushed out into the spotlight immediately following treatment like Demi was.
Idt having an eating disorder is an excuse to tell your fans and followers that being skinny = having a boys body.
She deserves to be called out on her shit bc like its been said the real women have curves bs needs to stop and as dumb as miley is I think she knows its not right to shame girls bodies and people have tweeted her about it before she just doesn't stop and calls herself ~curvy and that's a problem mostly bc she has 5 mill followers she telling this shit to and they will probably say the same thing to others in their schools and etc
Words do matter and words do hurt. its time for people to realize it imo
the point is that she has a warped view due to her own psychological issues with her body/eating etc
it doesn't make what she is saying right, but it shows that perhaps there's a deeper reason for it beyond Miley being a bodyshaming offensive jerk and that can't be discounted
and it is a problem, which is why she probably needs to get help
This is curvy
Also. She needs to stop making women who aren't curvy look bad. It's not their fault. They're still REAL WOMEN. God.
She's going to look back one day and think, "Wow I sounded dumb!".
I will always be jealous of women who have big boobs but narrow hips and legs...while I have medium boobs and mother of four hips at 19 :/
I feel like my body goes strait down like a board on the sides, despite having boobs, relatively flat stomach, and a decent butt
