Anne Hathaway: 'I Have A Lot In Common With Lindsay Lohan'

Anne Hathaway is basically a model of excellence when it comes to “being a celebrity.” She’s super famous, she doesn’t get in the tabloids for doing stupid stuff, she doesn’t party publicly, she got engaged at a normal age to a normal guy, and she’s never been arrested or photographed eating a penis cake.

So it came as a surprise when Anne Hathaway said she had a lot in common with Lindsay Lohan.

“Lindsay Lohan and I have more in common that people think,” the actress told The Sun, “We’ve all done things we shouldn’t. It is just that I did stuff at college when nobody knew about it, so I’m not a saint. I wasted time doing self-destructive things.”

You know, Anne Hathaway is right. We shouldn’t give Lindsay Lohan so much grief, because we all went through a variation of the Lindsay Lohan phase while in college. I mean, who hasn’t been arrested by campus police for indecent exposure and public intoxication at a Chipotle once or twice, am I right?

“I found you can only dance on so many table tops,” says Hathaway, “I got all that out of my system and I am healthy and grounded.”

“I try to keep my personal life low-key,” says Hathaway, “particularly after what happened to me. As I say, I do need to keep a sense of humor…I’ve been in so many embarrassing situations over the years.”

Actually, she looks like a girl's girl to me who would get smashed with her girlfriends and go to a club and be really loud and obnoxious.

oh i'm totally not like that either. i'd much rather stay home and watch the discovery channel than go out and listen to drunk girls trying to get laid.
