Girl, Im no expert in advise, but if you feel the need to cry, do it.. but do it right, cry all you want, all night long, but don't waste your life (meaning days, weeks or months) asking why happened. Don't lose yourself in the sadness. Try to keep your mind busy in something else. Depression is like hell, so try your best not to fall in it.

Ugh, I just split up with my boyfriend of a year a couple of weeks ago and it just started to get messy. We slept together on friday and I thought we might get back together, then he went out and had sex with someone else on friday night :/

I'm literally gutted.

It's horrible, but it will pass.. eventually. Tomorrow will be better than today, this time next week will feel better, then the week after that...

Just stay busy, be productive, don't waste your days.

It feels like drowning but you must work really hard to gain back your independence. The minute my boyfriend and I broke up I went out and got a new job, made new friends and joined a gym and these things help when you feel lost. Put all of that emotion and effort you had for the relationship back into you and even though you'll feel like falling down and crying sometimes, because you're taking good care of yourself you'll pick yourself back up quicker than before. Slowly over time your heart will heal and perhaps realise this was for the best and now you can use this experience to find the right person for you. Be strong bb xx
