so thoughts on the villain? definitely not khan. some people are saying gary mitchell because he's wearing a starfleet shirt under the silver coat, but i'm not so sure... not sure if hhe's sybok either because his ears don't look pointy but i can't tell in most shots. but i hope this means uhura is getting to do more! now the pressed haters saying she's just a love interest/mata hari slut who is using spock and is useless because she has a vagina can shut their pie holes :) spock enjoys it so deal with it.

Same here. I mean if they can pull it off and make their characters really good, I'll be happy with it, but right now I'm sort of underwhelmed by it. I was really hoping for more of a shock character, one that either hasn't been in the Star Trek universe, or one that has been in the Star Trek universe but introduced in the later shows.
