So I've been trying to distance myself from my ex because my therapist suggested I do it to improve myself. I was doing it, but today I had to be around the area he lives for doctor's appointments and I needed to kill 2 hours before my last one. Yesterday I asked him if I could come by and hang until my next appointment and he said that would be ok. So I'm finished with my first appointment and call him to let him know I'm coming and he's not home! Where is he? He's hanging with his ex whore of a roommate that I hated with a passion of 500000 suns! This was one of our many problems when we dated, he never thinks of me! He could have told me that he wasn't going to be home yesterday, or even today before I called, but no he always makes me feel like such a fool for thinking he could be anything but a selfish asshole.

If he's your ex, why'd you call him up? Why did you break up? If that girl was one of the reasons, why do you expect him to change now?
Personally, I'm just one of those people who believes you can't be friends with your ex (there are conditions, but it's really limited; like if you were close friends for years before and tried dating but it didn't work out, so you went back to being friends). I have a friend who used to remain friends with all of her exes, and all it did was cause problems for her, both emotionally and with whatever guy she was dating after.
I don't mean to be cruel, but I don't even know why you bothered with him.

Oh no, you're right! I keep asking myself all the time why I keep doing this to myself because I know he's not going to change ever. It was mainly for the convenience. Because even though we did break up, we've still been talking because he doesn't really have any other friends, and he calls me just as much as I call him. But we broke up for many many reasons, one being that he tried to cheat on me twice...not sure if it makes it better or worse that he wasn't able to succeed in cheating Lol. But the roommate wasn't one of the reasons, I just hate her, and it threw me off guard because he hasn't been in contact with her since she screwed him over on rent and took his mattress in the process.

Sorry, but I agree with scarlett_icons (and your therapist,lol) why on earth did you call him? Take your phone out right this minute and delete his number. Why make your life more complicated than it needs to be? Wash your hands of him and move forward.
OMG i was in the subway and i walked out and i'm like, "it smells like grape" ...2 secs later... "OMG IT SMELLS LIKE THOSE MR SKETCH GRAPE MARKERS!!!" super loud.

BB'S I GOT A JOB TODAY! At this job ill be making the most money I have ever made in my life lol. Its part time/Temporary right now and may eventually turn FT/Permanent but I don't care. Its front desk at a medical office too which is pretty cool experience and all that. I hope to maybe eventually do something else in the office but hey ill take whatever :)
I'm trying to learn how to do a fishtail braid but it's not turning out well so far. The top part of the braid always comes out really messy. I think it's because my hair is super thick.
Are you starting it like a french braid or just at the nape of your neck? If you don't start it like a french braid it can help to put a rubber band in your hair then it's easier to pull the top part of the fishtail tight and snip off the rubber band when you're done.
Yeah, that's what I've been doing, but the top part still looks bad. I think I just have to keep practicing. Once I get the hang of it, I'll teach myself how to french braid my own hair, too.
well, do you love him? i mean... its rare, yes, and it took me and hubby 6 1/2 years before we even got engaged, LOL.. but my parents were married two months after their FIRST DATE and are still together, 28+ years later, so... yeah

was never weird but I can see how it could end up being awkward.
