My friend had never read The Lorax before, so last night we bought the book. So good, I hope this movie doesn't fuck up the book's legacy

I think it can only help. I mean I hope that the movie doesn't suck but either way, Universal has put so much effort into making the whole movie release more than a money making event. They've been working with dozens of organizations from the NEA and Read Across America to the US Forest Service to Whole Foods to The Nature Conservancy to the EPA to HP to even IHOP to focus on giving kids learning opportunities about reading and environmentalism. It's easy to be cynical about marketing but I think the breadth and extensiveness of their effort makes me believe The Lorax is so much more to them than just dollar signs.

Danny Devito reminds me a bit of my dead dad (I think it's the Jersey accent) and I'm going to bawl like a baby when he dies. He's looking too old! I don't like it.
