It was said in an interview with Zooey Deschanel (Jess) and show creator Liz Meriwether that Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend’s Wedding, The Wedding Date) is set to make a guest appearance this season, but it was kept under wraps as far as just what kind of character he’d be portraying. Now E! Online has the dish, and it’s just a little bit complicated:
Russell, Jess’ (Zooey Deschanel) new boyfriend being played by Dermot Mulroney (swoon!), is coming with some baggage, y’all! Like, ex-wife baggage. Jess gets more than she bargains for when she agrees to babysit Russell’s daughter Sarah and has to deal with the ex who is more than happy to make her ex-husband’s new girlfriend feel like crap.
If that’s not enough to scare ya, seems this season also has a different kind of scare in store for either Jess, or Cece (Hannah Simone):
Holy Schmidt! Prepare for the mother of all bombshells: One of the Fox hit’s two leading ladies, Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Cece (Hannah Simone), will have a pregnancy scare later this season. So is the Girl in question really preggo? And who’s the possible baby daddy? While we’re not revealing all the juicy stuff, we’ll say this: It. Blew. Our. Mindholes.
Holy Schmidt is right! If it’s something juicy enough to blow mindholes, do you think it’s as obvious as Cece and Schmidt? cece and nick are similar too which is why cece/schmidt and jess/nick make so much sense
it was perfection imo
