Queen Miley adorns her body with yet another tattoo, regret never dies

Miley got her 12th tattoo yesterday, which apparently says, "Love never dies." That is how the world feels about Miley!

And here is 1 heavily tagged pic of her wandering around LA carrying a gigantic sack of drugs or dog food:

IDEC about the tattoo but... she listens to Van Halen? Really?
dropdeadpirate 19th-Feb-2012 05:36 pm (UTC)
Is that a problem because she's a female disney star or something? Because...
peddlestools 19th-Feb-2012 05:36 pm (UTC)
ofc not

i rly doubt she listens to iron maiden, too

but that doesn't stop her from wearing tee shirts her stylist picks out for her or whatever
talklikelions 19th-Feb-2012 05:40 pm (UTC)
delusional if you think Miley has a stylist for everyday wear. She wears whatever the hell she slept in most of the time
cecilia_weasley 19th-Feb-2012 06:08 pm (UTC)
So much effort... why?
ragdollia 19th-Feb-2012 05:38 pm (UTC)
she probably doesn't even know half of the bands in her closet
fineapplewine 19th-Feb-2012 05:40 pm (UTC)
Why wouldn't she? Because she sings pop music?
fabouluz 19th-Feb-2012 05:40 pm (UTC)
I love van halen.
virginmiley 19th-Feb-2012 05:46 pm (UTC)
Actually she listens to classic rock music soo
boomstick 19th-Feb-2012 05:49 pm (UTC)
Hahaha, I doubt it, and I have to laugh at everyone who thinks she actually has a good taste in music. Her songs are shit and she was surrounded by her father's shit growing up. I doubt she can even spell "Van Halen".
ladyofmachinery 19th-Feb-2012 05:52 pm (UTC)
I cannot believe I'm about to defend Miley fucking Cyrus but............why is that so unusual? I mean my favourite genre has always been classic rock but I love good pop too (Miley obviously not included on that list. I don't think I ever even heard one song by her) but isn't her dad a musician? Maybe she grew up listening to classic rock? Maybe she is a poser but maybe she actually loves that kind of music.

And to be perfectly honest, if she's wearing stuff like this and teens see it, they might develop an interest in giving some classic rock artist a shot? They may even become fans. God knows this world needs more classic rock these days.

idkidk I JUST HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS, OKAY.
blackkdiamond 19th-Feb-2012 05:59 pm (UTC)
lmao probably not.

She most likely only knows "you really got me" and "jump".
ashe_frost 19th-Feb-2012 06:00 pm (UTC)
Probably. Her parents are fans and so are her brothers and sister so I would guess she listens to them at lest every now and then in passing.
wildfawn 19th-Feb-2012 06:01 pm (UTC)
EXCUSE ME HER BROTHER IS A ROCKSTAR OK
overprotected 19th-Feb-2012 06:17 pm (UTC)
She always wears rock/classic rock T's...
She has a vintage 1983 Stevie Nicks tour t-shirt that she wears, and she also wears that shirt with Kurt Cobain's face on it ALL the time. I think she really listens to it at least a little, she always covers classic rock songs on her tours
emo_isoverused 19th-Feb-2012 08:00 pm (UTC)
iirc her dad said once he was a nirvana fan, so i can def see her growing up listening to something other than country music lbr
expromqueen 19th-Feb-2012 08:28 pm (UTC)
lots of ppl from the south like van halen...even country fans. i hate van halen tbh lol...but that tee looks exactly like one i'd expect to find at urban outfitters or buffalo exchange or w/e other place miley shops ;P
alyssa_hilary 19th-Feb-2012 08:49 pm (UTC)
So please explain why there's no way she listens to Van Halen.
uglybunnie 19th-Feb-2012 09:05 pm (UTC)
I think she does. She so badly wants to be ~different~ than the average teenager. She tries very hard.
acornthimble 19th-Feb-2012 10:05 pm (UTC)
i think a lot of our generation know and like van halen, iron maiden, queen, thin lizzy etc.
you don't have to be a rock expert to know them. they're pretty legendary and most of us learn about them through our parents.
just because she's miley and makes music in another genre doesn't mean that her love for that music is any less real.

laurie_springs 19th-Feb-2012 11:00 pm (UTC)
Well she said she doesn't listen to pop music two years ago and everyone rolled their eyes but I believe her.

lol @ people in this thread acting like Van Halen is some super obscure band though.
xkarisseex 20th-Feb-2012 12:13 am (UTC)
Sure she's a pop singer.. That does not mean she doesn't listen to good ol` rock music. She's great when she sings country.. I'm making no sense. ANYWAY.
I listen to Van Halen/Maiden/a lot of metal & classic rock, I sing... But I know I probably couldn't be in a heavy rock band. Even though that's the music i'd LOVE to play.
I guess what I'm getting at is.. You can still sing a certain genre of music & get inspiration/like another genre. lol whatever, idk.
toaerythinness 19th-Feb-2012 05:35 pm (UTC)
I like small, unobtrusive tattoos. I have one on the back of my neck, it's very small, and few people even know I have it. I don't regret it.
fr3shtodeath 20th-Feb-2012 03:02 am (UTC)
Agreed. I have a little one too and I like it. I don't like flashy things in general though.
angelmonster 19th-Feb-2012 05:36 pm (UTC)
Sorry she is looking more and more haggard the more I see her.
keziah42 19th-Feb-2012 06:19 pm (UTC)
This.
iheartfamke 20th-Feb-2012 12:58 am (UTC)
Then get your eyes checked. Sounds like a srs problem tbh
angelmonster 20th-Feb-2012 01:23 am (UTC)
20/20 babe, thanks for your concern though I appreciate the support.
brandon198403 19th-Feb-2012 05:36 pm (UTC)
Not bad, at least it's not obnoxiously big or anything
edas 19th-Feb-2012 05:36 pm (UTC)
What a stupid tattoo.
ljubavirakija 19th-Feb-2012 05:37 pm (UTC)
I have been wanting to get a tattoo for so long; but, I can't deal with pain.
ragdollia 19th-Feb-2012 05:39 pm (UTC)
same here bb
vehiclesshockme 19th-Feb-2012 05:41 pm (UTC)
Mine didn't hurt at all. Just try not to get it somewhere that's right on top of bone like your ankle.
ljubavirakija 19th-Feb-2012 05:46 pm (UTC)
Thanks for the info, bb. I guess getting a tattoo on my wrist is out of the question. LoL. Maybe the forearm will hurt less..?
wigsnatcher 19th-Feb-2012 06:45 pm (UTC)
what's your tattoo, boo?
hot_cokehead 19th-Feb-2012 05:53 pm (UTC)
i'm a pussy and i didn't think that it hurt so bad. i actually liked the feeling but i'm mentally unstable soooo
ladyofmachinery 19th-Feb-2012 05:55 pm (UTC)
I honestly didn't find tattoos painful at all. MAYBE the one on my back hurt a bit more than the others but that's because the artist legit pinched a nerve causing a one month long tension headache that felt more like a migraine. But the tattoos on my arm and hip didn't hurt at all.
voyevoda 19th-Feb-2012 06:08 pm (UTC)
It's more of a drawn out pain than a piercing (which is over quite quick), but the aftercare pain is worse for a piercing. My tattoo is over my spine, which hurt quite a bit (only took about 45 minutes to do and the worst pain was just when she was doing the outline), but it didn't hurt virtually at all afterward. My piercings all hurt for weeks/months after the fact. T____T
muddyroad 19th-Feb-2012 06:16 pm (UTC)
I got one on my lower neck, and all I felt was the itching to end all itches while I was getting it done. Seriously. And then I was all confused when people were saying "D: D: D: OWWWW that must have HURT".

(But then I have a really screwy pain response, so.)
queenofissues 19th-Feb-2012 06:18 pm (UTC)
I just got one Thursday on my inner ankle and it didn't hurt nearly as bad as I thought it would. But afterwards it kind of felt like someone had rubbed sandpaper on my skin, not bad, just super annoying.

But the tattoo artist told me that your instinct is to hold your breath, just try not to. I was like ah whatever, I'm good at breathing through things. He was totally serious though, I had to concentrate on breathing which kind of distracted from the pain.
tricky_sticks 19th-Feb-2012 06:31 pm (UTC)
doesnt hurt that bad unless u get it on a real sensitive part of your body

anais_molko 19th-Feb-2012 06:42 pm (UTC)
it really doesn't hurt as much as you probably think it does
enid_keaner 19th-Feb-2012 06:45 pm (UTC)
MTE.

I know exactly what I'd get, but I just cannot with pain.
expromqueen 19th-Feb-2012 08:34 pm (UTC)
it's not that bad lol i have two small black tattoos and they each took like, 5 minutes to do. unless ur trying to get ur whole sleeve done in one sitting, it's probably not gonna hurt bad enough to make u cry. color ink does hurt worse than black ink, iirc. it's more of a burning-stinging sensation...it's not the same pain as getting a shot from the doctor or getting blood drawn...i srsly fear syringes, but the tats didn't even phase me
funkybaby 19th-Feb-2012 09:29 pm (UTC)
don't get one on your ribs then. that was soooo painful.
but do get one. it's pretty. :)
sarsly 23rd-Feb-2012 07:21 am (UTC)
Mostly, they don't hurt that much. For me, my painful areas were the right side of my chest and sort of my left shoulder (that one, it's hard to judge though, my skin was getting irritated and we had to break that tattoo into two sittings instead of just one).

But, at the same time, my artist told me it's pretty common for the right side of the chest to hurt more than the left as far as getting inked goes. idk how true that is, but it was the case for me for sure.

I want to get inked again sfm, I got the best idea ever for wrist tattoos, but my artist quit tattooing like a year and a half ago and I moved and haven't found anyone yet, ugh.
dropdeadpirate 19th-Feb-2012 05:37 pm (UTC)
I don't have a problem with tats but this one... I couldn't have something like that on me. Anything to do with love, really, because when I break, even little shit like that would kill me.
beatlesluv 19th-Feb-2012 06:08 pm (UTC)
I LOOOVE tat's tbh, I'm like you bb. I have specific places where I like it on ME, but where she has it, I wouldn't do it.
beatlesluv 19th-Feb-2012 06:10 pm (UTC)
bb vintage ones are all over etsy.com and it's cheap too - some are over priced but sleugh through for the 20 bucks or less ones

invisible_cunt 19th-Feb-2012 06:30 pm (UTC)
omg $700? lollllllllll

i can get it for like $10 at a shop in kensington market
there's one that legit has just tons and tons of vintage band tees
lennoxs 19th-Feb-2012 05:38 pm (UTC)
that's where i want to get my tattoo but thank god it's not something as cliche as that lol
beatlesluv 19th-Feb-2012 06:10 pm (UTC)
i've put a ton of thought into my tat idea :) it's for sure ME and not spur of the moment. But to each their own right?
flashin 19th-Feb-2012 05:38 pm (UTC)
What a lame, cookie cutter tattoo.
actxappalledx 19th-Feb-2012 06:08 pm (UTC)
What a beautiful, gorgeous icon you have, though
flashin 19th-Feb-2012 06:11 pm (UTC)
Thank you. I refuse to look at pictures of him now :(
derbysinner 19th-Feb-2012 06:12 pm (UTC)
I was just thinking I wish she'd just break down and get an actual real tattoo piece instead of these tiny little throwaway tattoos that look like quotes off of Pintrest or one of those other sites
vehiclesshockme 19th-Feb-2012 05:38 pm (UTC)
Just makes me think of this.

Fucking exactly. As a hardcore Phantom phan (majority Leroux, some ALW and a teensy bit of the Robert Englund version) I refuse to see this. I don't want to ruin my Phantom love with utter shit.
drownanddive 19th-Feb-2012 05:38 pm (UTC)
All that makes me think of is Phantom of the Opera's horrible sequel. Blech.

oh wow, I forgot about that. I loved the 2004 movie adaptation. I saw it in the theater three times; regret nothing
bitchsdangerous 20th-Feb-2012 12:37 am (UTC)
For years I've been wanting to get "Darkness wakes and stirs imagination..." as a tatt, I just don't know where and I'm scared of the pain.
firefoxyk 19th-Feb-2012 05:38 pm (UTC)
i really want a tattoo but i want to get something meaningful and it's takes me sooooooooooo long to choose =/
firefoxyk 19th-Feb-2012 05:42 pm (UTC)
I am. it's been like 5 years or so since i first thought about it
aprilbegins 19th-Feb-2012 08:29 pm (UTC)
This is the best advice. When I was 18, I was designing tattoo comps for myself and thank GOD I didn't end up doing it because one of them was in Bradley Hand font
robinsparkle 20th-Feb-2012 07:24 pm (UTC)
Taking your time is A+ advice for sure. I have a simple, 3 word sentence on my side and it's alright, but I should have waited and chose wisely
