Zombie let loose on movie theater to promote 'The Walking Dead'

To promote the return of The Walking Dead in South Africa, a local ad company produced a (fairly realistic) fake trailer for a romantic comedy, and then showed it to a theater full of people unaware they were about to be visited by a walker.

Trust me, it all makes sense in the end.

saintkate2 18th-Feb-2012 12:47 am (UTC)
And that's why I try to avoid sitting at the very end at movie theaters.
atomiccake 18th-Feb-2012 12:50 am (UTC)
But then you have an easy exit.
saintkate2 18th-Feb-2012 12:52 am (UTC)

I would have lost it. I just know we're going to have a Zombie Apocalypse.

Similar thing happened to me at the movie theater once. I went to see Scream 2 and I was one the first people out of the theater. One of the theater employees dressed up as the Scream killer and was standing at the exit to scare people. I almost died of a heart attack. I fell backwards into a bunch of strangers, screaming my head off.

Good times, good times.

I just HATE when someone startles me. HATE HATE HATE!
nicenicegirl 18th-Feb-2012 02:33 am (UTC)
oh i don't do good with shit like that. anytime someone tries to "scare" me i come out swinging. needless to say i don't go into a lot of haunted houses lol

That is classic. Especially with the beginning of Scream 2 at a movie theatre. I was too young to see it here in Canada so I made my parents drive me over the border. We were in a strange theatre in a strange place so watching the opening was a little bit unsettling.

FUCK THAT WAS AWESOME
leatherandjeans 18th-Feb-2012 12:58 am (UTC)
That is SO COOL!

But damn, we're fucked when the zombie apocalypse coms. Those people just sat there.
kstewrulz 18th-Feb-2012 12:58 am (UTC)
When I went to see Paranormal Activity, they had a guy scaring people during the movie. Scarred for life tbh. I can handle watching a horror movie, but I can't deal when the thing is "real".
x_myheart_ 18th-Feb-2012 12:59 am (UTC)
I would've freaked the fuck out! D:

I wonder if there's gonna be a zombie apocalypse episode on Doomsday Preppers
speedychi 18th-Feb-2012 01:06 am (UTC)
LMAO omf I'm high right now and some of these comments are killing me
xvisqueux 18th-Feb-2012 01:15 am (UTC)
Trailer was awful, they should of made a super scary zombie one and then the actor would of caused a lot more screams.
lachica2000 18th-Feb-2012 01:18 am (UTC)
That's a lot of people who will have no hope of survival in the zombiepocalypse.
rolt_me 18th-Feb-2012 01:26 am (UTC)
wow that was v good.
pinkprincessnat 18th-Feb-2012 01:35 am (UTC)
I would not want to be in that movie theatre. At least it was only 1.
