my husbands been in thailand for two weeks, i made dank ass tamales for him a day before he left. i specifically told him that it was for vday and i said happy early vday.
i thought he might surprise me, but yeah. nothing. ive never felt so alone in my life.
my husband totally forgot Valentine's day last year. we spent the day of together and he was having man PMS or something and being a huge jerk, and it pissed me the hell off.
so I bought a pair of canaries as a present to myself, and of course they had a bunch of babies and now they all sing like crazy and drive my husband nuts. a few weeks ago, I said to him, "remember when you missed Vday last year and I came home with a bunch of pets you hate? don't do that again."
he got me a cute pair of earrings and we cooked dinner together. problem solved. :)
yep! they made themselves a nest, and I went from two canaries to eight in a couple of months. they are the cutest little fuckers. all they do is sing and take baths. :)

except I was sick so I just stayed in and put together the bed my mom had bought me. then I drank beer with my roommates. 25 is turning out to be a very mature year, #adulthood etc.
Since we couldn't see each other on the 14th, the Saturday before I went ice skating with my bf then we made dinner together and watched like 4 hours of Doctor Who.
On the actual holiday I made gluten free red velvet cupcakes for my sister, got a pack of Reese's from my mom, and hung out with my niece and nephew. Decent Valentine's Day imo :)
my mom sent me a care packaged with a huge eeyore stuffed animal holding a heart that says "u r loved", a tampon case with a picture of woman wearing metal armor, and chocolate. then i wrote a short story for my fiction class about an extramarital affair.
My boyfriend goes to college about an hour away, so we didn't get to spend it together. Instead I ordered a Domino's pizza for lunch/dinner and watched Our Idiot Brother from Redbox. Paul Rudd! <3
went to dinner with one of my best friends from high school and her insane mom and we all got wasted and watched the rum diary which was horrible except for a-heard's body
Hung out with my husband and son. We went out on a a nice date a couple weeks ago when my mom was in town. He got me cookies, wine and a card and I made him a photo valentine.
my bf and i went to the boardwalk and we went to the aquarium, got a caricature done (it's sooo cute omg), had dinner at some sushi grill, and bought wristbands and rode everything over and over until it closed. it was ~*awesome*~
For Valentines day my bf and I cooked dinner together, using the skills gained at the couple's cooking class we went to last Saturday. Easy lemon herb chicken, I am your master.
I had the most epic bath ever. Used the Dragon's Egg bath bomb from lush and watched Beginners whilst eating crisps and dip then nutella whilst drinking strawberry cider. I genuinely had an amazing night.
I went shopping, had an unfortunate dinner date, ate more chocolate in 20 minutes than I did all last year and then came here.
