i did the same thing from dying/bleaching it too much. my hair basically was straw, so i said "fuck it" and buzzed it. it was so liberating and wonderful i kept my head like that for 3 years. i have hair down almost to my butt now and i'm tempted to do it again.

I just got mine cut today!! I was not as nervous as I thought I'd be, although I do miss it a bit. It was below my boobs now it's right below my shoulders. It's weird.

I cut 17 inches off my hair and donated it a year and a half ago. It was so freeing and I felt so great for about 2 days. Then I started losing my shit when I couldn't put my hair in a ponytail and vowed to never cut it that short again.
