DanRad doesn't have a filter....
...and it's awesome LOL!
Dan discusses his drinking, Kill Your Darlings, nudity, Rupert's hot bod, groupies, man-scaping and whether the ladies should just let it grow!

The actor first unveiled his slender frame in psychological drama Equus on the West End stage.
But he's set for more naked escapades in his new film Kill Your Darlings.
He said: "I'm comfortable with my body. It's funny, actually, I've just been having a discussion with the guy who's directing my new project."
He continued: "It might have a bit of nudity and he said: 'Just to let you know, if you're getting naked, no landscaping of any kind. This is the 1940s and you're playing a Jew.'
"I was like, 'Pretty much there anyway, mate! Not a huge amount of maintenance going on.'
"I mean, there's a little bit, obviously, for courtesy.
"This is way too much information, but I don't like girls with nothing down there either. It freaks me out. You have to have something, otherwise it's fucking creepy."
In the interview with Heat magazine, Dan also revealed he will never be able to compete with Potter co-star Rupert Grint's new muscular body.
He said: "I'm not going to try to compete with Rupert on the arms front. His dad is a big guy, so if anyone was going to get the proper muscleman build, it was Rupert.
"You'd have to search pretty hard to find a more handsome ginger. He's also a dude. I wish I could be that calm. I'm lucky to have found an industry where this level of hyperactivity is encouraged. Otherwise I'd just be a fucking nuisance!"

Dan had a rather revealing interview with Heat magazine, stating that during the shooting of the final three Harry Potter films, Half-Blood Prince and both Deathly Hallows installments, his alcoholism was so profound that it was practically visible on the big screen.
The former Harry Potter actor confessed that there may be a nude scene in his future in the upcoming production of Kill Your Darlings, in which he will portray famous beat poet Allen Ginsberg.
And for those wary of the comment Dan made earlier this month about his relationship with Rupert Grint, he had a lot more flattering words to say about his former costar and friend in the Heat interview, as well. Dan confessed at the Toronto premiere of The Woman in Black last week that although it was true he and Rupert never texted and rarely saw each other, it made no difference to their friendship and whenever they saw each other it was as though nothing had changed between them. More on that, as well as a couple of gruesome shots of Dan in a new photo shoot, can be read and seen below.

You’re only 22. Don’t most people in their early twenties drink too much?
Unfortunately it’s not that simple. I have a very addictive personality. It was a problem.
Really? There were never any stories of you going on wild benders…
People with problems like that are very adept at hiding it. It was bad. I don’t want to go into details but I drank a lot and it was daily - I mean nightly. I can honestly say I never drank at work on Harry Potter. I went into work still drunk, but I never drank at work.
You mean Harry Potter had a hangover?!
I can point to many scenes where I’m just gone. Dead behind the eyes.
You were only 11 when you started on the films. Do you think growing up in the spotlight contributed to your drinking?
I think it would have happened anyway. I think it’s just in me. I loved the fact I suddenly could talk to people and feel so entertaining and so interesting. But after a while, you’re living under such a cloud of shame about what you’ve done and the dread of who you might see, what you might have said to them, what you might have done with them. You either have to change something or give into that shame and I wasn’t prepared to do that at 21.
Did you sleep with loads of groupies?
Not at all. I was always very nervous about the groupie thing. I like to like somebody before I sleep with them, I really do. You know you’re going to have to talk to them afterwards, even if it is a one-night stand. I have… I mean that has happened, but generally speaking I’ve known the person. Someone once said to me, “You can go outside and pick from the girls at the stage door.” And I said, “No, that’s not me.” [Stops.] Because, to do that, you kind of have to be a dick.

i seriously want to know what scenes from hp he meant. i can imagine it was quite a few from hbp because he looked totally zoned out in that one
I have done this many times before, but tbh my job is shit so #noregrets
I don't find any body hair sexy at all. But completely shaved down there is so childlike. So that's never sexy.
lol
My boyfriend loves me completely bare.
I mean feminism, girls should do whatever they want with their bodies, etc, but I appreciate a man who appreciates hair on a vagina.
P.S. your icon will never fail to make me crack up.
(in before 'BBBBUT my boyfriend shaves because I ask him tooo!' congrats you're one of the few and you're also going against the dominant cultural expectation. Have a cookie)
