The Next Lady Gaga Single Is... *drumroll*

Lady GaGa continues to promote her album "Born this Way", released this May. She is preparing to release their sixth single, "Heavy Metal Lover."

While the artist is preparing a new album, the promotion of "Born this Way" continues. With over 5 million units sold worldwide, the album is ranked second best selling products of 2011, just behind the popular "21" by Adele. For the sixth single, the singer chose Heavy Metal Lover  because she ''wants to make fans dance and sweat all around the world.''

Lady GaGa will also be performing February 12 at the opening of the 54th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

if she's purposely setting herself to flop why doesn't she just release Bloody Mary and call it a day

I don't get the obsession with Bloody Mary.

It's a midtempo with lots of religious undertones. If Judas didn't do well with a killer hook+RedOne beat because of the religious stuff, BM wouldn't get a single spin on the radio.

01. Born This Way
02. Judas
03. The Edge Of Glory
04. You & I
05. Marry The Night
06. Heavy Metal Lover
07. Hair
08. Americano
09. Scheisse

Judas didn't do well because it's a piece of shit that no radio station wanted to play
mountainsea 27th-Jan-2012 11:44 pm (UTC)
judas made it to the top ten. stop

and then swiftly dropped on the chart like a penny from the empire state building
mountainsea 27th-Jan-2012 11:47 pm (UTC)
still doing better than marry the day off

not by much...
distantechoes4 27th-Jan-2012 11:47 pm (UTC)
Because the radio didn't want to play it and TEOG quickly replaced it as a single.

vag_breath 28th-Jan-2012 12:08 am (UTC)
lol exactly
vag_breath 28th-Jan-2012 12:09 am (UTC)
the 'religious undertones' had nothing to do with why judas flopped
forcestrong 28th-Jan-2012 03:44 am (UTC)
Religious overtones don't automatically sink a song. Like A Prayer is a fucking classic.
