it never will, the leads are so terrible. its like they found the most uncharismatic, least talented actress they could find to play cassie. all she does is squint and awkwardly read her lines.
I'm hoping the writers have a change of heart and decide that Jake is the guy for Cassie. This way he'll stick around till the end. It's not that I don't like Adam but I just don't care for him.
Yeah, I actually like Jake now. The idea of Adam/Cassie didn't make me want to vomit or anything but now I'd rather have her with Jake instead. Adam's ok... I guess...
Ethan's a dilf, I could care less bout Faye's sub-plot, that crackhead guy is weird, where the fuck was melissa?, Dawn's a bitchass, Cassie finally wasn't so boring. Next week looks whatever, why am I still watching?
This show really bores me and I can't figure out why... I think it's a combination of poor pacing within each episode and uninspired acting. The actors never seem to convince me that the stakes are as high as they should be. I feel like some OTT melodramatics would be better than the blase approach everyone seems to be taking. A greater sense of the world of witches outside of just their town would also not go amiss.
Their version of magic also seems really.. dumb. I liked what Gale did in the pilot with spilled water causing a leak and it matches causing a fire, that was way more interesting. But "a drop of water as light as air"? yawn.
coupled with the actors not standing out in any way, the pacing is slow, the story is uninspired, not enough mythology and the cameras being used to film it make it look bland
For a show about witches it's terribly boring. All that stuff going on last night and I could barely stay awake. We know her dad's alive because he was cast the other day (Sully!) and it's all over the internet. If this was actually the vampire diaries they'd have done the spell before the first commercial break and found her dad at the end of the episode.
I watched some of this show... Glad to see Cassie is just as annoying in the show as she was in the books. And I'm sorry but if the twins and Deborah aren't in it, it ain't worth watching.

the rest are non factors.
