The Cast of Community as the X-Men

Artist Aviv Or has created many amazing illustrations of Greendale's finest as everyone's favorite group of mutants.

Those waiting for NBC to announce the return of "Community" will have to hang tough while executives figure out when to air the remaining episodes and if the college-themed comedy will drop out of their primetime lineup.

In the meantime, the show's massive cult following can enjoy some new artwork by 27-year-old Israeli artist Aviv Or that depicts the entire cast as "X-Men" comics characters, courtesy of Buzzfeed.

That's Hawthorne (Chevy Chase) instead of Ian McKellan as Magneto, Winger (Joel McHale) lookin' buff as Cyclops with Perry (Gillian Jacobs) in full Phoenix regalia by his side. Storm, Nightcrawler, and Professor X are there, and Donald Glover can totally get over not being Spider-Man now that he's replaced Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

"Community" has made a habit of pop culture parody, with the cast hamming it up in takeoffs on "Pulp Fiction," "Goodfellas," "Die Hard," even the stop-motion "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." While it's cool to see "Community X," we're still excited that there will soon be a video with two more Xs in the title…

Dean Frost – The White Queen

“I have always dreamt of playing charades with you, Jeffrey. Just not like this. And not on dry land.”

Professor Xabed

“Annie will always be driven, Shirley will always be giving, Pierce will never apologize, Britta’s sort of a wildcard from my perspective and Jeff will forever remain a conniving son of a bitch.”

“I believe that fusing brownies with the Internet is going to create the next Napster for brownies.”

“I never told you this, but Changs are usually born with tails. You sort of dodged a bullet there.”

“How long was I out? Is Napster still a thing?”

Annie Pryde

“Mornin’ boys. I’m Annie Edison, but people call me Psycho because I had a nervous breakdown in high school.”

“Me and Abed have an agreement. If one of us dies, we stage it to look like a suicide caused by the unjust cancellation of Firefly. We’re gonna get that show back on the air buddy!”
