Jessica Simpson is Starting a Maternity Line!!



Jessica Simpson has made quite a bit of money with her successful fashion line, and it looks like she will be expanding that line in what will likely be a successful venture.

Simpson recently revealed at a TCA press conference that she will be creating a maternity line next, states RadarOnline.com. “I don’t really love a lot of maternity stuff, so I’m actually using it as a fun business thing to do. So the next thing you will see from the Jessica Simpson Collection is maternity,” Simpson said about her own pregnancy inspiring her.


But for now, she is focused on getting through her pregnancy: “I haven’t started the nursery yet. In the next couple weeks I have to start. The baby’s gotta sleep somewhere.”

she looks cute, but i don't understand how pregnant ladies can wear sky high heels all day. When my sis was pregnant her feet swelled so much she could only wear crocs and shit :(

I don't think it's uncommon, despite their success level, for some designers to wear other designer's clothes/shoes/accessories.

I don't see the problem. it is like chefs eating at each other's restaurants. You size up the competition and sometimes you like what you see. I think I would side eye her if she does't wear her own shit at all.

because we gain weight and want to look a little longer/slimmer. Jessica's short like me, and I feel like a lump at 6 months. if she knows how to walk in them, I don't see what the big deal is.

Lol with the faux concern for pregnant women, their not ill and don't need wrapped in cotton.

If you're use to wearing heels then you can still wear them when pregnant for as long as you wish, if I were to be pregnant (LOL) and decided to rock heels with my center of gravity being displaced then that would be a disaster because I'm crap in them anyway.

It is so annoying, why are they wearing heels? Because they want to! Quit acting like she is going to damage her baby because of her shoes, it isn't like she is smoking like Leah from Teen Mom that everyone was OK with because quitting smoking is stressful.

I'm 6 months and bought some new Jeffrey Campbells for a wedding I'm going to next week. pregnant women can definitely wear heels. my feel haven't swollen at all (yet).

at 6 months I've only really bought 3 maternity items. I buy looser, tunic-y things (and go thrifting) so that I can wear the clothes postpartum, too.

I'm pretty much allergic to spending money on shit that is only useful for a few months.
