now i only made it thru half of the trailer, but this seems like generic teen movie no. 38529...does it have something that sets it apart from the others? either way, it depresses me that hollywood is so out of touch that they can't even make a teen movie that's not a remake of someone else's teen movie

Yeah and this looks like it matches the original shot-for-shot too. But I'll probably still go see it. It won't be anywhere near as good as the original, granted, but maybe Hollywood will take a hint wrt the realism vs. cheese in teen movies.
