I also have Holiday parties. My boyfriend works for the Democrats but his friend dates a Republican so we have to go to their party which will be crawling w/ Republican. Kill me now. I can only keep my mouth shut for so long and fake niceness...

i had one last night for my pt job. it was fun. they do a casino theme and i learned to play craps. we are still waiting to find out if we are having our usually party at my full time job cuz we just bought this crazy new office so money is tighter than usual. i kinda hope we don't but if i don't get my bonus this year i am gonna cut a bitch.

I haven't heard anything about an office holiday party yet this year, which is weird. Last year's was so completely terrible I think the overall sentiment was that we'd rather do nothing and save the money than do that again so maybe that's what's happening. It was a combination party staff meeting. That's not all, but I think that alone sums up the general spirit of the occasion.

My husband's job is having a Christmas potluck. There's 64 soldiers in his company and everyone has to bring a dish. Of course, most people are married, with kids. So, it's even more people. It just seems like too many people to do a potluck. I'm not looking forward to it.

I say 500. I have a lot of music and videos and it's already taken up around 300 gb on it's own.

But if you don't mind not having your files on your HD I would agree with everyone else and get an external and increase the RAM (which I should have done when I first bought mine -- but I'm saving up to do it early next year or so)

Get a 320GB and an external (you should have an external anyway). If you run out of space, find a nerd and have them help you buy and install a bigger harddrive. Soooooooooooooooooooo much cheaper and a very easy upgrade, and 320GB is still a significant amount of space.
