11 Designers Pretend to Know What the Hunger Games Is
I'm pretty sure everyone in the world is absolutely stoked for The Hunger Games to be released in March. Seriously, this is about to be the next Twilight. And it has a huge advantage: the books are WAY better.
The main character, Katniss, played by the gorgeous Jennifer Lawrence, dons a fire dress -- which serves as one of the most important props in the trilogy. InStyle got 11 of our favorite designers to sketch what they think the dress should look like -- and you're seriously going to die when you see the results.
Everyone from Christian Siriano to Rachel Roy stepped up to the challenge and trust me when I say it's just beyond. Click through for some awesome looks and let us know which one is your fave.

can they stop already
It pisses me off too but whatevs at least J.Law can act and has a future beyond The Hunger Games as a respected actress.
This is why I have little hope for this movie.
I hope it's just the marketing and not the actual film.
Jean's too fierce for this though.
*is bitter a bitter comic queen stuck on frank quitely's drawings and joss whedon's awesome stories*
it's a dress! what's with all the capes and pants?
lol @ erin featherston, did she even try.

I feel like the movie is going to rely waaaay too heavily on the cgi for the fire dress. I'm not saying that they need to actually light her on fire, but something tells me it's just going to be flames edited over her body when, really, it could be so beautiful. Imo they need to start from a fashion design and find a way to make the flames move/shape around her body like fabric would.
i also snorted laughing at all of these upon first glance tbh
