IsAnyoneUp's Hunter Moore confronted on Anderson Cooper



Hunter Moore, who runs a website exposing naked photos of women (and men), says he wants to profit from looking at naked women all day. Hunter says, he doesn't believe what he's doing is sleazy "at all" and that it's the people who are submitting the photos who are to blame, not him. To put it nicely, Moore basically does not give a (hint: it rhymes with duck)

I don't at all believe that the people who are posted should be posted in the first place or deserve to be shamed, heckled, or criticized. I just personally don't understand how anyone still sends their nudes to someone in this day and age.

I don't have nudes but this website made me more cautious about what pictures I decide to take of myself. It's not really horrible that he post the pictures but the fact that he goes through the trouble to find their personal facebook accounts and job information is crossing the line. He wants to profit but he is making many people lose their job. He doesn't care though because he is a selfish kid that lucked out by exploiting on the internet. I try not to go on that website because I don't want to be part of lives being ruined, people committing suicide, jobs being lost and I couldn't even imagine if a picture of me showed up and I had to see all the terrible, dehumanizing comments.

Fine, if you like the website, but it's something to think about.

Since I'm the only person in my country with my name, I wake up at least once a week with nasty-ass men knocking on my door, trying to kick it in, saying how badly they 'want to fuck me'. My roomie is terrified of rapists coming into our apartment (so am I, obciously), when I apply for a job I have to tell them that the pictures are out there and that I didn't upload them myself. If I meet a new person, it takes a pretty long while before I tell them my last name. And it wasn't even my exboyfriend who leaked them, I was not an idiot who trusted the wrong person. My email was hacked and the pictures stolen. Do I feel blamed by a lot of people in this community right now, for sending pictures that aren't even graphic at all, to a person that I love (and still love) who was travelling while we were together? Hell yes I do, and it's sickening.

I know and it's always sad when it's women doing it to other women. It's like it they point out of how stupid or foolish they were, it'll help differentiate them and somehow save them from falling victim to the same thing. I hate to sound all man-bashy but it's attitudes like that that certain men count on. If they can get women to turn on other women for being victims of a vengeful ex, it's takes some of the heat off of him. And some women will fall for it every time, even if it's just to make them feel superior for a couple of minutes.

PS - Icon love! I can't wait until Suits comes back.
