I don't understand why people notice this shit or why it matters or how it means that someone is going through "trouble". It's a ring, you take it off because you're bloated or because you need to get it fixed, fitted or because you forgot to put it back on when you washed your hands.

My dad couldn't wear a ring when he was working because he worked in a lumber mill and it's a safety issue. So he didn't have one, he's retired and doesn't just magically wear it.

If you're committed, you're committed. A ring is not going to make it stronger or some shit!

i took mine off when i had a reaction to some hand cream and it was irritating me. Put it in my purse, and my house was broken into and my bag/purse was stolen.

Won't be removing the replacement. :P

But i fully agree, there are times its just uncomfortable to wear rings, and your finger needs a break every now and again.

I agree. On most days I don't wear my engagement ring, 1. because its a bit snug due to weight gain and 2. on most days Im chilling at home and going out is a last minute trip to the market. If my fiance and I are going out and I have time to get ready then I'll wear it.

Nope. When she wanted a break, he encouraged her to do so and decide on her own what she wanted. They got back together & married.
