I think I read him mentioning, or SOMEONE mentioning that in a quiet child birth it's not that katie has to be quiet, it's just that she's not to scream obsenities and damn Tom to hell, and other people trying to calm her down.

She IS allowed to moan, goran, scream, etc. Just not say things.

It's still freaky. Apparently Katie can't talk to the baby for a week so he/she doesn't associate her voice with the "trauma of birth" LMAO.

Since when is birth traumatic? It's the most natural thing in the world, and yet they think there are all these precautions they need to take so the baby won't be traumatized by it.
