i really don't know. apparently my current boyfriend has a lot more restraint than me because we waited a month after becoming official and i was DYING the entire month.

my ex was such a jerk. he was my first and i was terribly nervous, so i waited a really long time before having sex with him. when i was finally ready, he denied me for a while too, saying he was nervous too and was rusty. after we'd been going out for about a year and a half he admitted that he just made me wait to piss me off, 'cause i made him wait too. because y'know, losing my virginity wasn't a big deal at all for me. :|

I've only been with one guy and I waited for a year and a half, but it's because we started dating when I had just turned 15.

I dated my current boyfriend back in 2009, and I blue-balled that dude so hard. We got back together last year, and ended up having sex...about a month into it. No regrets. And he's always telling me how, because I kept saying "no" the first time around (and for that first month, the second time around) it made him respect me so much more, and just made him want me more (in a relationship sense, not so much in the "IT JUST MAKES ME WANT IN HER PANTS MORE OMG" sense). I used to put out between the first night and a couple weeks, depended on the guy. Then I decided to wait until I really cared about the guy before having sex. Lo and behold, the first guy I tried that with was the only one I did that with (I waited 2 months)... 6 and 1/2 years later we're still together.

Just under four years. But we were 14 when we started dating and it took awhile to recover from our traumatic Catholic upbringing.

With my ex, to whom I lost my virginity, a year and some change. I was 15 when we began dating and wanted to be on birth control. With my current boyfriend, we started out as friends with benefits. We banged because I wanted to, lol. Then a couple months later he asked me to be his girlfriend. However, we'd known each other, again, since we were 15.
