David Beckham: Harper Going on Dates Will Be 'Interesting'

David Beckham teaches his son Romeo some new surfing moves at the beach on Saturday (August 27) in Malibu, Calif. The 36-year-old soccer star went shirtless for his surfing day with his boys Brooklyn, Cruz, and Romeo, who are all set to start the school year soon! David recently spoke with Access Hollywood about his newborn daughter, Harper, and what he will do when she begins to date in her teenage years. “She’s got three brothers that will take her, three brothers that will eat with her and three brothers that will bring her back home and a dad waiting for her,” David joked. “So yeah, we’ll see. That’ll be interesting.” Below are a few of the 25+ pictures from the Source of David Beckham on the beach with his boys…

but what if she's gay david then what will you do
[info]superdogbiter 31st-Aug-2011 02:56 pm (UTC)
by that i meant who will you be giving the talking to her or her girlfriend
[info]clubland 31st-Aug-2011 02:57 pm (UTC)
Well if she's gay he won't have to worry about her coming home pregnant so win/win
[info]srparker328 31st-Aug-2011 03:00 pm (UTC)
he'll tell her that it's wrong, but support her because he has gay friends so he knows how it is.
[info]pippa_middleton 31st-Aug-2011 02:57 pm (UTC)
She's probably gonna end up on season 100 of 16 and pregnant

I really wish they did a "Where Are They Now?" Reunion special for the girls of Girls Gone Wild.

I just wonder, I mean, the first video aired in 1997. That is over 14 years of GGW. At some point, they've got to stop being so wild, right? That shit gets exhausting.

[info]lokiyan 31st-Aug-2011 02:58 pm (UTC)
Or they can be like my brothers and not give one shit, which I preferred.
[info]srparker328 31st-Aug-2011 02:58 pm (UTC)
um... no. harper will grow to be a disney slut.
[info]poisoned_summer 31st-Aug-2011 02:58 pm (UTC)

[info]eka_prada 31st-Aug-2011 03:01 pm (UTC)
Would you rather have really gorgeous kids, or really smart and compassionate kids?
[info]ljubavirakija 31st-Aug-2011 03:01 pm (UTC)
Or, they can be like my brothers, who don't give a shit.
[info]sapitacherry 31st-Aug-2011 03:03 pm (UTC)
i'm more worried that her mother is going to give her food issues.
[info]ljubavirakija 31st-Aug-2011 03:07 pm (UTC)
So true.
[info]luvthatdrtywata 31st-Aug-2011 03:35 pm (UTC)
yeah, she'll either intentionally make her fat so she looks good in comparison or give her a raging ed...probably both.

truth be told, that's a bit how my nana was. she was a singer and a club owner and she didn't want her daughters to be more attractive than her.
[info]squarerootofpi 31st-Aug-2011 07:55 pm (UTC)
Did we have the same Nana? My Nana was tall and equated that with being fat, so when I hit 5'6" at 10, she became really obsessed with my weight. Granted she was already keeping me on the "Iceberg lettuce, cubed turkey, celery slice salad" diet when I would visit her on the weekend. But as soon as I had a growth spurt, she freaked out.

This whole post is really bumming me out. Call me crazy, but Posh and Becks really seem to me like incredible parents. They really seem to love and protect those boys, and so far, the boys all appear (from my very uninformed view, of course) to be good, respectful children. Every parent has a problem or two of their own, but that doesn't mean he or she can't raise kids that are well-adjusted and well-loved. I really see Posh empowering her little girl and having a close bond with her, while being a mother before a friend. But I guess we'll see.

[info]americandream17 31st-Aug-2011 03:03 pm (UTC)
she's like 2 weeks old.

worry about this when she's like 15 ffs.
[info]eka_prada 31st-Aug-2011 03:15 pm (UTC)
I think he's just thinking about the future, a lot of proud parents do it.
[info]xdecadentx 31st-Aug-2011 03:03 pm (UTC)
I have a feeling she'll be a tomboy.

I kinda hope.
[info]poisoned_summer 31st-Aug-2011 03:04 pm (UTC)
me too. i hope she thinks fashion is sort of dumb or finds she's not that interested in it and decides to go to business school or become a tax lawyer or something
[info]0sleep2dream0 31st-Aug-2011 03:07 pm (UTC)
I know. Celebrity kids who actually go to university are kinda few and far in between.
[info]miss_gulch 31st-Aug-2011 08:30 pm (UTC)
Lol like Anna Wintour's daughter
[info]squarerootofpi 31st-Aug-2011 07:58 pm (UTC)
The girls I know who grew up with at least 2 older brothers always ended up tomboys and into really boy centric things.

I think it stems from wanting to do what your older sibling does, and they [the boys] just happened to be more interested in playing sports, fixing computers and cars and the like.

So yeah, I have the popcorn ready for Princess Harper to not meet Queen Beckham's expectations of femininity. It will be hilarious.
[info]superdogbiter 31st-Aug-2011 03:06 pm (UTC)
also jc this is why i perfer girls to be born first so they don't have to put up with this shit.I was born first than 3 years later came my brother
[info]beatlesluv 31st-Aug-2011 06:24 pm (UTC)
Srsly I don't really like the girl vs boy thing. So she's gonna have a hard time dating/bring boys over b/c she's a girl? Double standards...probably a rant im getting into...
[info]ohkkrista 31st-Aug-2011 03:06 pm (UTC)
Ugh love him & his relationship with his kids. It's so genuine and generally awesome.
[info]a_little_faerie 1st-Sep-2011 02:18 am (UTC)
I'm so with you on this. It seems like everyone else in this post is already predicting emotional turmoil for this little girl, but I think she's going to have a childhood filled with overwhelming love and support. I guess I'm just a positive person. Their family seems really sweet to me.
[info]0sleep2dream0 31st-Aug-2011 03:06 pm (UTC)
Damn, bitch is fertile.
[info]deme_yuca 31st-Aug-2011 03:07 pm (UTC)
I hate the over-protective father/brother thing. I also hate when women say that they are scared to have daughters because they automatically assume they'll have to deal with having a slutty teenager.
[info]neversquare 31st-Aug-2011 03:09 pm (UTC)
i'd just be scared to have a daughter because lets face it, the outside world sucks when you're female. if i had a son that was an hour late home i'd be alright but if it was a daughter i'd be freaking the fuck out idk
[info]superdogbiter 31st-Aug-2011 03:14 pm (UTC)
you need to work on some issues
[info]deme_yuca 31st-Aug-2011 03:17 pm (UTC)
Idk I just feel like everybody just places all of the responsibility on females to keep themselves from getting raped/killed/pregnant instead of pressuring men to respect.i I guess I'm just used to my mom's understanding that shit happens to both males and females.
[info]mydogfred 31st-Aug-2011 03:50 pm (UTC)
i ag
[info]ascot_gavotte 31st-Aug-2011 03:50 pm (UTC)
girl that second sentance
[info]piratesswoop 31st-Aug-2011 06:18 pm (UTC)
this

it sucks but society is fucked up. if i let my kids go out, i would make them promise to text me every hour (lol i'd probably be the kind of parent to get those child trackers in my phone -_-) because i'd just want to make sure they're safe, but i'd definitely be more concerned if my daughter was later in contrast to if my son was late. i'd be worried either way, but i feel like the risk that my daughter would be kidnapped, killed or raped would be much higher than my son
[info]simplychristina 31st-Aug-2011 03:27 pm (UTC)
Same here. Or that they feel like they'd have to "protect" their daughters more and restrict them. It's so patronizing.
[info]another_grl 31st-Aug-2011 03:39 pm (UTC)
idk, I wish my dad were a little more assertive with us (especially my sister.) Instead, he just sides with the boyfriends because he has some sort of "male connection" with them.

I want to have a daughter, but at the same time, it is scary. Everything is so sexualized now. Just let kids be kids.
[info]ascot_gavotte 31st-Aug-2011 03:49 pm (UTC)
ikr I would be like back off bitch
[info]cickiz 31st-Aug-2011 05:34 pm (UTC)
