I adored this movie, but I don't think it needs a sequel.
fay_of_sunshine 23rd-Aug-2011 12:24 am (UTC)
Err, no. Watched it just the other day---it's sub-par as fuck.
fay_of_sunshine 23rd-Aug-2011 12:32 am (UTC)
though the 'When will my life begin?' song is catchy and awesome.
setsuna16 23rd-Aug-2011 12:32 am (UTC)
I was kinda pissed that I didn't get to see 'Prince Eugene/Flynn.'

So if this mini-sequel gives me that, then I am content.
hateistoodark 23rd-Aug-2011 12:34 am (UTC)
WHYYY
unless it's flawless then plz full lenght imo
juanitatequila 23rd-Aug-2011 12:34 am (UTC)
the first movie was perfection omg. :')!!!
pensarelove 23rd-Aug-2011 12:43 am (UTC)
Why does this need a sequel? If I remember correctly, at the end of the film, it's said that they got married and lived happily ever after.
johnnylazarus 23rd-Aug-2011 12:44 am (UTC)
Goddamn Disney can't you just let a good thing stay the way it is? Make another fucking movie. We don't need a shitty sequel to something that was so amazing. I LOVED Tangled.
_____faith 23rd-Aug-2011 12:48 am (UTC)
I was shocked by how much I loved this movie when I first saw it. Now it's my favorite Disney princess film after Mulan.

Not sure about the sequel but eh, if there's more Pascal + Maximus I'm down.
rinoamint 23rd-Aug-2011 01:03 am (UTC)
i loved this movie, i had thought they'd put that kind of stuff into the original but i guess i'd appreciate even a small clip explaining her life afterwards
xtoki_dokix 23rd-Aug-2011 01:06 am (UTC)
But why

It ended perfectly

She was normal, she found her family and she has a man lizard and horse with human expressions

What the fuck else could happen, movies over
queenoftea 23rd-Aug-2011 03:02 am (UTC)
hahahah, this is how I feel. enough is enough, it's a pretty basic fairy tale to start with
deviousweasel 23rd-Aug-2011 01:06 am (UTC)
I am skeptical

but I'm probably going to watch it anyway

ALSO I just realized one of my professors looks like the twins lmao
faiien_dreams 23rd-Aug-2011 01:08 am (UTC)
igaf, best animated movie of 2010 tbh. The lantern scene is FLAWLESS.
chiixhideki 23rd-Aug-2011 02:36 am (UTC)
preach gurl. well it's probs tied with ts3 for me since that's like one of my favs ever but this movie is flawless tbh
sparkfactory 23rd-Aug-2011 01:25 am (UTC)
idk tangled was cute but that's all it was. it followed every single convention that disney has down to the hilarious animals. they're trying so hard to recreate the magic they lost with their movies but they're never going to get back to that level of amazing if they just try to pull the same shit over and over
onyxobsidian 23rd-Aug-2011 03:13 am (UTC)
I thought Tangled was the best Disney movie since the days of 2D animation. The problem I have with Disney movies this days is they always end it with some up beat pop song. Give me a Celine Dion ballad during the closing credits any day.
sillycucumber 24th-Aug-2011 06:49 pm (UTC)
Yeah, Tangled was just like the previous movies, but in a good way, imo. I thought there was a spark there.
