This is going to be hard to watch. With their marriage having crumbled at the end of last season, Desperate Housewives' one stable couple, Lynette (Felicity Huffman) and Tom (Doug Savant), will enter the series' eighth and final season as a separated couple on their way to divorce. Executive producer Bob Daily confirms to me that both will be seen dating new people.
The series is on the lookout for a fortysomething Kate Walsh-type actress to play the recurring role of Jane, Tom's new girlfriend, who will prove a threat to Lynette. And that's not all. This Jane tramp has a hot daughter named Chloe who is described as a hard-bodied yoga instructor in her early twenties. Now we just know either Tom or one of Tom and Lynette's ginger sons is going to take an interest in this PYT.

Why did Tom and Lynette get a divorce? he's sick of being emasculated, and she doesn't want to give up control. and they both know it. and they're both tired of it. (IDK why now after all these seasons.)
Are Carlos and Gabby still together? (Miraculously yes. Neither has killed the other yet.)
Is fucking Dana Delany finally off the show? (Yeah, she ran away to Paris to be a lesbian with her ex-stripper girlfriend.)

i am so glad i stopped watching this right after vanessa showed up. as much as they annoyed me with constant complaining about being "poor" they were a good couple (for the most part). this sounds stupid and unnecessary.
