Awful first picture of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman



Dark Knight Rises official site has just released a new image of Catwoman/Selina Kyle. The image depicts Anne Hathaway riding a bike like Trinity in "The Matrix".


I thought the casting was bad enough but this is just so basic and uninspired. She looks like a random girl biker.

I thought she played a great catwoman but I'm not so sure why everyone is so hung up about it.

It's was great but it wasn't great to a point where you can't imagine anyone else playing the part.

Then I guess that this is a Jack vs Heath situation all over again. Some people will always favor the original take on the role and not accept another one. You can't really blame Anne for that.

But I agree that it will be hard for her to be as memorable as Michelle.

Pictures of Tom Hardy on the set of The Dark Knight Rises recently surfaced on the internet. As evident in the picture above, people have been criticising and knocking Mr. Hardy down because of his appearance.
Let me just ask you this, how many of you would shave your hair bald just for a role? How many of you would drop tens of kilograms for a film and undergo another diet in a matter of weeks to gain massive weight for another? How many of you would train hours and hours just to get into shape for a role? How many of you would wear a huge jacket and a mask in the middle of summer for countless hours? Most importantly, how many of you would, instead of making yourself more BEAUTIFUL, UGLIFY yourself?
This is not even about being beautiful or presentable or what the social norm deems as acceptable anymore. This is about how society sees people. Just because someone has flaws doesn’t mean they’re not beautiful. Who are you to call someone ugly or unattractive or even worse, bid ill fate on others when you’re the one who constantly calls yourself ugly, unattractive and deem your own destiny to be ‘forever alone because no one in a million mile radius would notice you’?
Stop being a hypocrite. Stop hating, spread the love.
Everyone has flaws, including a major Hollywood actor like Tom Hardy.

I know it's un-ignorable and maybe even a little pretentious to say this but I hate it when everyone expects celebs to be made up on the time and then they use it as an excuse as to why they're not fit for a particular role.

This! finally someone who isn't dismissing her performance completely out of their irrational hatred for her. It's like at least wait until you see the trailer before u ppl rip apart her performance. It's just incredibly demeaning. I mean just give the woman a chance, either way she's going to be in the movie so they might as well hope that she turns out good. It's annoying when they're waiting for her and others to fail.

Michelle as Catwoman was one of my favourite performances ever. However, if I had judged her based on the photos, I might have ridiculed her too. So I'm refraining from judgement.
