Beyoncé headed to the rural parts of New Jersey to shoot her new music video on Tuesday (Aug. 2). According to various reports, the retro-themed clip was for “Party,” her collaboration with André 3000, off her platinum-certified album 4. The visuals, filmed in South Brunswick’s Oakdale Mobile Home Park, called for flashy fashions, a red muscle car, and colorfully-dressed dancers. Solange and Kelly Rowland joined B on set, while eager fans scouted out the location and snapped up some camera phone pics.
According to Video Static, B is also planning to shoot a video for “Countdown” with “Sweet Dreams” director Adria Petty. (ugh, I hated that video...she better not turn "Countdown" into a disastuh)
Dubbed as the song hipsters love the most on her latest album, 4, is getting visual treatment. Beyoncé is shooting a video for the Ester Dean and Terius "The-Dream" Nash-penned "Countdown" with "Sweet Dreams" director Adria Petty is set to take on directing duties for the clip.
4 has already received it's certified platinum certification by the RIAA selling over a million copies in the U.S. just a month after it's release. This marks Beyoncé’s fourth solo album to go platinum.
The August/September issue of Complex hits newsstands a week today (August 9) featuring non-other-than Beyoncé gracing the cover.
