just look back at the 'Heath Ledger is the Joker' posts and almost everyone was saying, "Noooooooo", "bad casting choice", etc.

And then after TDK was released, look at how that turned out. lol

This is what I'm holding onto for every casting choice I want to side eye. I was as dubious as could be about Ledger as the Joker but I definitely learned a lesson from that.

Lol most people on here don't know how to cast a fucking movie anyway. I'd rather trust Nolans judgement than ontd's lol. If it were up to them
While they would give great performances, the casting choice would kind of be uninspired and predictable. There wouldn't be that many elements of surprise.

I'm reading Knightfall right now and my friend thinks the plot of TDKR is based off it. But since Nolan's said there's no Robin to Batman in his universe (yet), I can't see how that would be true.

But yeah, Bane's fucking bad-ass, damn. Couldn't even die when Batman had Superman's powers and nearly fried his ass.
