Carlos Bocanegra And ESPN 's Erin Andrews Are Latest To Join The 2011 Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game on July 10th

    


Carlos Bocanegra may be the captain of the US National Soccer Team, but he will be trading in his soccer cleats for a bat and glove when he joins ESPN's Erin Andrews at the 2011 Taco Bell Legends & Celebrity Softball Game on July 10th at Chase Field.

Andrews will be the game's American League Manager with actor James Denton serving as the National League Manager. On the field, Bocanegra will join participants previously announced, which include: Dave Annable, Jason Aldean, Jake T. Austin, AJ Calloway, Tim DeKay, Paul Dimeo, Jennie Finch, Larry Fitzgerald, Greg Grunberg, Nick Jonas, Amaury Nolasco, Chord Overstreet, Tom Papa, Chris Pratt, Jordin Sparks, Kate Upton and Jesse Williams.

Past MLB stars also are scheduled to participate, including former Diamondbacks players Luis Gonzalez and Mark Grace; former MLB All-Stars Fred Lynn, Mike Piazza, Steve Garvey and Bernie Williams and Hall of Famers Ernie Banks, Rollie Fingers, Rickey Henderson and Ozzie Smith.

The five-inning game will take place on Sunday, July 10th at Chase Field. Tickets for Taco Bell All-Star Sunday can be purchased via Ticketmaster at 1-888-FanFest, online at www.allstargame.com, the websites of all 30 MLB Clubs, and at the Diamondbacks box office.

The game will be televised in HD by ESPN immediately following the State Farm Home Run Derby at approximately 10:30 p.m. ET on Monday, July 11th. The game will also be available on ESPN3.com and ESPN Mobile TV.
