It will be a court battle that promises to have more drama than an episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
And, as Camille Grammer revealed she feels 'liberated' one year after filing for divorce from former husband Kelsey Grammer; he is preparing to battle her for custody of their two children.
'It’s been one year today I filed for divorce, I feel liberated!' Camille told Radar, as she prepared to celebrate with an exotic holiday in Hawaii.
'What can be better than being with my kids in Hawaii over the holidays? Nothing!' she revealed.
While the reality star relaxed on the beach in a bikini, Kelsey filed legal documents today declaring his intention to testify in person at an upcoming court hearing in his custody battle with wife of 13 years.
For once, the warring ex-spouses want the same thing - the children.
The former Cheers star is requesting full custody of Mason, nine, and Jude, six, while third wife Camille is contesting and seeking the same rights, reported Radar.
The legal documents that were filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court reveal that both Kelsey, 56, and Camille, 42, plan to testify at the upcoming trial.
In addition, the Frasier actor has requested that the judge seal all documents pertaining to the case and all details that relate to the children.
According to Radar, Kelsey and Camille both agree that a custody evaluation should occur in the case, but they can't agree about who should do it, so they are requesting the judge to decide that matter.
The custody trial is expected to begin in August or September. A pretrial hearing is set for July 27.
The legal battles are far from the most bizarre happenings in the Grammer's strained relationship.
Last month a strange email was sent to a host of the divorced couple's friends and business associates.
With 'Camille smells like beef jerky. Goodnight,' written in the subject line, the email came from an account in Kelsey's name.
Kelsey has confirmed that it was his email account, but has denied sending the message and refused to apologise.
Instead the 56-year-old claimed that unknown 'others' had access to the account and were responsible.
In a follow-up email, he claimed the message was written 'without my knowledge, consent or authority.'
'May I suggest that it is "they" who owe you an apology,' he added.
He married the fourth Mrs Grammer on February 25, just 15 days after his divorce with Camille was finalized.
Source Despite being a stan for my Camille, I think what Kelsey is doing is so wrong, why does he feel the need to gain sole custody, why not share it like Camille first suggested. He is disgusting and I hope the judge is able to see this.

Why not just keep it 50/50? He works all the time, who's really going to care for those kids? Nannies? I think he wants to use this as a way to not pay child support. Such a slimball.
Off not but I've seen Kelsey and his new lady at least once a week and he seems genuinely in love. He's also INSANELY nice to everyone, and has a good relationship with his adult kids. I dont think the story is as simple as ~everything was perfect and then Kelsey fucked Camille over"
the problem i have with him is that he wants to have full custody and is fighting for no reason when she was willing to do 50/50
say what you want about him being in love and what not but what he is doing is wrong and just unnecessary
One of his kids is learning disabled right? Didnt he like fail kindergarden? She obviously needs to take better care of him since he's having trouble.
