Making for quite the adorable cover girl, Emma Watson adorns the front page of the August 2011 issue of Seventeen magazine.
Set to his newsstands next Tuesday (July 5), the Hermione Granger hottie playfully posed for a darling shoot while talking with the publication about keeping childhood friendships alive and maintaining an active lifestyle.

Highlights from Miss Watson's interview with Seventeen are as follows:

On keeping friends forever: “I still have friends from primary school. And my two best girlfriends are from secondary school. I don’t have to explain anything to them. I don’t have to apologize for anything. They know. There’s no judgment in any way.”
On celebrity crushes: “I’ve never understood having crushes on people who you don’t know in real life. I only crush on people I meet. I mean, I can appreciate that someone is good-looking, obviously, but I don’t intend to fantasize about people I don’t know!”

On having fun with colors: “I try to avoid wearing black because sometimes it’s the easy option. But I’m young, so it’s nice to be able to play with color and not just wear black all the time. I can save that for when I’m older.”
On keeping active: “I dance a lot and I run and do yoga and play field hockey and tennis. I like to be active. I don’t always have time for that stuff, but I do always feel better afterward.”

On relationships and whether she’s a good “game player”: “No! I’m a terrible game player. I’m so impatient – it’s one of my worst traits! If I want to see someone, I want to see them, and if I don’t, then I don’t. My friends are always telling me I have to play hard to get because I’ll pretty much say to a guy, ‘I like you – let’s go hang out.’ But my friends are like, ‘You can’t do that! You have to string this guy along.’ And I’m just like, ‘No! I won’t! I just want to go on the date!’ It’s a nightmare – I definitely haven’t figured it out yet.”
On which Harry Potter costar she had a crush on: “For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton. He was my first crush. He totally knows. We talked about it – we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that’s cool.”

I didn't even know it was her. I thought, "Who's this starlet trying to look like Watson?"
Like, Emma, my love, you've already met Rupert Grint. SOME OF US JUST AREN'T THAT LUCKY so we must crush from ~afar.
But yeah, I don't personally see the problem with celebrity crushes so long as they don't go beyond that in the person's mind. One can find a person attractive, I think. I do think some people can get a little creepy with the whole celebrity crush stuff, but so long as they don't take things too far, it's okay. I mean, I think DanRad's a cool bloke, for example, but I'm not meeting him at the stage door and screaming marriage proposals.
I can see what she means, though. Emma's talking about it from her own experience. I mean, there are crazy, fanatical people out there. DanRad has girls who scream marriage proposals at the stage door of How to Succeed.... It's bizarre and creepy, so I really think that's where she's coming from, to be honest. She just needs to work on how she says things.
I'm a straight guy and I love her with short hair.
2. her hair is in that awkward stage...
3. oh
i was bored :(
