I know that a lot of you hate her but given her fanbase and the amount of criticism that she already gets, I think it's great that she's so willing to speak up in support of gay rights. It's been something she's been talking about for a long time too.
She spoke about gay marriage on Ellen back in 2010.
Last year she wrote her song 'My Heart Beats For Love' about her gay friend and the need for equality.
She also supported gay marriage on twitter way back in 2009.
