Brian Savelson is directing from his own screenplay. Anish Savjani ("Meek's Cutoff") is producing with Vincent Savino. Slattery and Gilford star as an estranged father and son who accidentally wind up in the same vacation home with their two girlfriends. Union will play Slattery's love interest who's practically the same age as his son, which makes for some awkward encounters. Malone will play Gilford's girlfriend.

Production is scheduled to start this June in upstate NY. Union is currently filming Tyler Perry's "Good Deeds" for Lionsgate and was also just cast in Screen Gems' "Think Like a Man."

Screen Gems Casts "Think Like A Man"

Gabrielle Union, Gary Owen, Jerry Ferrara, and Romany Malco have been added to the big-screen adaptation of comedian Steve Harvey‘s national best-seller book ‘Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man.’ Already cast in the film are Kevin Hart, plays a soon-to-be-divorced, self-professed relationship expert who doles out advice to the couple, Taraji P. Henson and Michael Ealy.

The book, which has afforded the Virginia native multiple appearances on top-rated TV shows such as ‘Oprah’ and ‘The View,’ is a relationship guide where Harvey refers to his own real-life experiences and drops science about the dos and don’ts of meeting and mating. Harvey’s book has sold more than 2 million copies worldwide since it came out in 2009. Tome is a humorous love guide for bridging the differences between the sexes for successful relationships.

Directed by Tim Story, ‘Think Like A Man’ will be produced by Rainforest Films’s Will Packer, Rushion McDonald and Rob Hardy and Screen Gems, who also collaborated with Packer on such hits as ‘Stomp The Yard,’ ‘This Christmas,’ and ‘Takers.’ Production starts in July.
